Helly Hansen Big Mountain Battle
20 03 2010Kyle competed with Dan Brindise at the 2010 Helly Hansen Big Mountain Battle at Smuggler’s Notch. The race involves an intense, three hour race up and down the 3 mountains of Smuggler’s Notch Resort. No skins, no crampons, 5 checkpoints. It’s a mass start where teams of two start by sprinting up the mountain to the first check point. Kyle and Dan were the 7th team up the first climb.

The race was on from there. Mountain knowledge was key. The winners were Smuggs ski patrollers. Kyle and Dan finished 8th. Pretty sure Dan will ski next year. They want to win. Bad.

Kyle… always making jumps bigger and better

DH Productions and Red Bull film Kyle Ebbett, Aaron Chase, Lars Tribus, George Ryan, and Adam Hauck sessioning the snowboard park at Mountain Creek.
Conditions were too soft to build a lip, so Kyle propped it up with his body for Lars.
